Gun Licence Gun Cabinet

I live in U K
I am new to shooting just applied for my gun cert , can anyone advice ,i need to keep my gun in a locked cabinet ,can this be wooden or has it to be specialy built

This forum is for spud launchers rather than guns which use solid propellant and require a license (not that all spud launchers are definately legal but that's another kettle of fish).

Saying that to my knowledge a gun cabinet has to be certified as such (ie buy one), I've certainly never seen one which wasn't metal. You'd be best asking whichever authority is responsible for issuing you the license though, or whoever you buy the firearm from.
